Circe Enofood Lounge - TAORMINA

Had late night cheese and wine here after a long day travelling and exploring. Delighted with the quality of everything we ate and drank. Not a cheap option and no idea what it's like during the day but our experience was positive. The wine list includes high to mid prices. We opted for, Cabernet Franc Collio Conti Formentini, and it was one of the best wines we had in Sicily. I'm considering buying a case online as it's not expensive, although shipping will bump it up a bit! The cheese board was sensational and we loved the peaceful outdoor tables with subtle lighting, lovely.

We visited here three times over our five day stay in Taormina, once for morning coffee and were impressed by the professionalism of the staff that we came back for lunch twice. The waitress/waiters were really polite and friendly. The actual meals looked amazing. When we walked by in the evening, it was also full as well, which is a good sign.

This place is pretty swish, with very clean modern surroundings. The staff are attentive and professional. We called in for drinks but only stayed for one as two drinks cost 29 euro's!. Still the view from the back terrace was splendid and we felt relaxed and refreshed afterwards.

Locale situato sul corso principale di Taormina, taglieri deliziosi e salumi di ottima qualità che vengono tagliati al momento dell'ordine. Il servizio è rapido ed i camerieri sono molto preparati, tanto che ci sono state presentati nel dettaglio le portate da noi ordinate. Focacce molto buone, forse un po' piccine. Buoni i cocktail ma soprattutto fantasiosi. Prezzi piuttosto modici rispetto alla media degli altri locali di Taormina.

Volevamo solo provare un po’ di prosciutto…. Alla fine siamo rimasti fino a dopo mezzanotte, trascorso una bellissima serata con sapori siciliani, prosciutto mortadella formaggio …. Mmmhhhhh…. Un posto fuori al turismo, moderno ma accogliente, con personale molto simpatico e sempre attenti …. Ci rivediamo!!!!
