Roladin Bakery Cafe - TARZANA

Best restaurant, best food highly recommended. the desert selection is also incredible.

I was a fan of Roladin for the last 2 years, but recently had an issue with a dish in which the restaurant handled the situation very, very poorly, and the owner was too much of a coward to respond to my email and phone call to discuss. Was it really worth screwing a good, regular customer over a $10 dessert? Apparently so. In all the times I went to Roladin, I never complained once about a single thing. In fact, I've brought other people there. The ONE time I had an issue, and was really nice about it (but thought it should be taken off the check because it wasn't eaten, and wasn't anything like we had ordered many times in the past), Roladin handled it so poorly it turned me off from ever going back. As I said, that $10 must have been so important to the owner that he was happy to blow off a good customer with a legitimate complaint over a barely touched dessert. Greed for ten dollars. Wow.

Our meal was amazing! Good food, delicious as always. Service was fantastic. Place is kept up, really clean! Their bakery and desserts are mmmm

We met a couple more for dinner in Roladin. Our waiter was exceptional, as he explained the elections, brought bread, dips and drinks while we waited, and then all four participants came in time and together. Large portions were delicious as always. I enjoy seeing baseball on their big TV. We'll be back soon.

So an eclectic menu, we love this place. The roasted tilapia and kibbutz roasted potatoes salad were fabulously accompanied with a beautiful glass of hot mint tea. Our Carlos server was excellent as he refilled our bread basket and sharp carrot appetizers and brought out more drinks and ensured that everything was perfect with our order and the entire culinary experience. They also have fabulous desserts like Rugelach and super decadent chocolate-chocolate cakes. We were back to Roladin for breakfast this morning.
