Great view, not so great prices. The food is incredibly overpriced, 5.10 euros for an apple dish with tap water is a joke. Couples this with prizes like 17 euros for barracks (blood, eggs and cheese) or 18 for a carving with frozen frits is an absolute joke l. If you are top end food, then it can be understandable, but after experiencing the basic cash, very basic carving and very bland Kaiserschmarren the prices are not acceptable anywhere near. Around 10% of the entire terrace were no surprise at these prices. Never again.

One of the 2 3 places I always go to for lunch when we are skiiing in Obertauren. Inside is cosy and nicely decorated not a huge canteen type bland atmosphere that some of the larger places have. Outdoor terrace is large and has great views when the weather permits. Ignore the reviews on bad service thats not my experience and I have been coming here for 5 years, they are just very busy and are trying to serve hungry, thirsty skiers quickly.

There is no other place that has a mountain that its own cable car for guests and food its so sweet! the soonhoff is a fab place with a beautiful feeling. great food great staff and his on the slopes, the excellent for the children who now have the confidence to go on a chairlift, as the departure goes down to the foot of the village, which they then take a tow lift to come home later so its really comfortable place. highly recommended.
