The Wyvern - Taunton Deane

Lovely food very reasonably priced and good beers, again at very good prices. Nice to come for a bit of food and a chill and as members, get 15% off. Nice atmosphere too. So much better than The Harvester in my opinion.... Rather come here!

We popped in to the Wyvern club with our friends had a lovely evening. I had heard so much about the Guinness, I had to try it! It really was as good as they said it was, so much so, I had to have a second one, to be sure!

Very good choice on menu and kids meas are excellent. They also have a specials board which is always good. You certainly won't go hungry as the servings are huge and the staff are fantastic

Group of us gathered here for a meeting. Friendly greeting and bar service. Acceptable wine by the glass, others enjoyed choice of cask beers. Buffet supper very adequate and filling. A sporting club more than restaurant or pub, but offers a good choice for those living on the south side of the town. The alternative being either to go a mile into town or drive to Corfe etc.

This is the second Holiday Inn Express I have stayed in and I am as impressed as I was the first time. Situated just off the M5, it has an easy access car...
