Feedback gevenI had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to the tasty food and the friendly, helpful staff. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes and desserts, making it hard to decide what to order. I tried the Kimchi Fried Rice Omelette, which was delicious, and I couldn’t resist trying the Injulmi Milk Snow Flake cup for dessert. If you're a fan of red bean, you’ll absolutely love it!
They refer to themselves as a Korean dessert cafe, which is a pity because it's actually an outstanding Korean restaurant. We weren’t very familiar with Korean cuisine, but we’ve been delighted to get a fantastic introduction here! They specialize in various types of deopbab, which is essentially a stir-fried meat and vegetable dish served over rice, somewhat similar to Chinese cuisine. So far, we’ve tried the Bulgogi Deopbab (marinated beef and vegetables over rice), Jeyuk Deopbab (spicy stir-fried pork and vegetables topped with a fried egg), and Ojing-eo Deopbab (spicy stir-fried squid and vegetables with a fried egg over rice). All of them were incredible, but we especially enjoyed the spicy pork and squid dishes. Additionally, each meal comes with a side salad, a small cup of soup, little dishes of kimchi and another marinated dish whose name I don't know, plus a chunk of pineapple. It all adds up to a large, satisfying meal. We also tried their boba tea, which was excellent, although we haven’t yet sampled the desserts. We plan to return and explore more main dishes, but we can now proudly say that we’re huge fans of Korean food!
Came here after hearing great reviews from friends as there's very little places to go for authentic korean food in Tauranga. Food was amazing, the staff were very lovely and the atmosphere was great. Love the decor, very quaint! Definitely stopping by more often.
Amazing contemporary Korean food. Nice experience in Tauranga
Additionally, each meal comes with byalate, which includes a small cup of soup, some kimchi, another marinated dish (the name of which I don't know), and a piece of pineapple. This adds up to a hearty and satisfying meal. We also tried their Boba tea, which was excellent, although we haven't sampled the desserts yet. We definitely plan to return to explore more main dishes, and we can proudly say that we are now big fans of Korean food!
