Amazing food! The flavors were incredible. We had the lamb skewers, tuna salad and marinated olives with ciabatta. Dessert was the recommended chocolate mousse torte. Couldn't have been any better. Thank you!

We were on our New Zealand trip to this restaurant, and we are thrilled! Great meat, fish, friendly staff, great food. Perfect through and through. The prices are a little higher than sundry, but you pay that here with pleasure. The food is prepared with care, and presents great on the plate. You do not go hungry off the table. For me the best restaurant in New Zealand.

Visited in early November, 2018(forgot to hit post), but wanted to give kudos. In this area, there are limited close options and many places close early. So this place was recommended by many locals and was a welcomed find! In the middle of the small village shopping area, limited parking, is a high energy tavern. Walking in to a somewhat dark lit, dark decorated, but relaxing bar tavern. Super friendly staff and support team. Menu offered a wide variety with nightly specials. Craft Other beer selection was great, bourbon selection limited, and good wine selection. Our table service was a little slow but it was easy to mowzey up to the bar if you needed a faster drink. The place was busy packed even at a 9 10pm dinner hour. Our waitress(Alix) offered suggestions including the crispy chicken appetizer and nightly special fish chips for dinner. Everything she recommended was good. Nightly special was a Sliced Steak, that was tasty and cooked perfectly. Fish and Chips was a large portion, and my wife left some on the table. Staff worked well together and supported each other. We had a fun night and if you are in the area definitely stop in for dinner.

3.7. This is a lovely, serviceable little eatery on the main drag of the mount. There were six of us in our party visiting in the high season between Xmas and new year. The service was friendly and attentive. Our party ordered a range of dishes including burgers, sliders and salads. The highlight was the salmon and kumera salad. The salmon was exquisitely fresh and came sitting astride the beautifully prepared salad. The salmon was so well cooked that it flaked off the fillet and subsequently melted in your mouth. Some of our party were critical of one of the burgers. The drinks list was good but the apple juice was dark and cloudy and divided opinions. All in all though, definitely worth a visit here.

Went here for my dads birthday ! Very busy but wonderful catering! They even made a vegan meal for me and my sisters , they didn't have anything vegan on menu. Wonderful
