Yoku Japanese Cafe - Tauranga

Back again to this cafe. Food was great as always. Lovely staff. Good knowledge. Lots of menu options and sweet treats too. Had a small open omelette and it was huge and delicious. Husband had gluten lamb pasta and ranted about how good it was.

Such great service. Very helpful, dedicated fryer. We went for my daughter as I read on these reviews they had chicken nuggets and chips. Unfortunately when we got there, they did not have gf nuggets and didn't seem to know about it. But chef made my daughter delicious fried chicken to go with her fries, she was so happy. and the staff discussed getting some nuggets in for future! Amazing

The chef was amazing, made our coeliac little girl who own chicken nuggets! Waitress were really helpful and made sure everything we ordered was gluten free! Super excited to find this place.

Separate fryer. Catered for coeliac 6 year old by doing special gluten free ‘chicken nuggets’ staff all over it with gluten knowledge. Our new default choice in Tauranga.

They were very careful with explaining what they did to keep food safe. Most of the menu could be adapted. They cooked the chips in a separate pan so explained it might take longer. Service was excellent as was the food. The waitress checked before and after about the food.
