The Toasted Yolk Cafe- Fulshear

Today was a little disappointing. An egg place that can't cook eggs as ordered?? Staff loitering at the end of the bar while our waitress had disappeared. Took a long time to pay, although we were given the bill when the food was delivered. I guess they wanted to close the window on ordering more drinks or dessert... Went back 8/27/23. Very busy and I get that, but sat and waited for service without any acknowledgement for 15 minutes. Had to ask for someone to wait on us. Food was good but service sucked. Whoever owns this franchise clearly has no idea how to operate a restaurant. Returned 11/5/23. Sad, this place is having consistent issues. Understaffed, long wait because of it and people are noticing. Not full on a Sunday after church. Cold bacon that the manager stated was supposed to be served that way.....missing components to the food, no follow up by the wait staff....

I have been a few times and never had an issue but on yesterday the service was definitely lacking. It took some time for someone to even take our drink order this should have been my clue to leave. Also the food took considerably long at least 30 minutes and the manager’s solution to the lack of service for a pricey brunch an extra piece of sausage or bacon.

Finally got to try them, understand the lines. Great Coffee!

I went on a busy Saturday morning, but we’re seated right away, Brooke, who was our waitress was there within a few minutes, very professional, with a smile on her face, best waitress bar, none, checked on us, not less than four times! The food was great, and came out very promptly, will be back again!
