Inside, the atmosphere was simple, clean, and bright, filled with an absolutely wonderful aroma. All the signage was in Spanish, which added to the authentic vibe. The menu offered an array of Cuban specialties, alongside some familiar items like Caesar salads, fries, Cuban sandwiches, beans and rice in various styles, black bean soup, and a selection of pork and fish dishes. Our waitress was delightful, speaking limited English but understanding what we wanted. I ordered the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had, along with some fantastic black beans and rice. My wife opted for a croquette dish and a Caesar salad. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the staff was very pleasant. The prices were reasonable for the area, too. The atmosphere was lively, with conversations happening in Spanish all around us. It felt warm and inviting. The cafe also featured a market and a bakery; the smell of freshly baked Cuban bread was so tempting that I couldn’t resist buying two loaves when we left. They were simply divine—crispy and warm on the outside, fluffy and soft on the inside. There was also a deli-style section with ready-to-go items that looked and smelled incredible. If you enjoy Cuban cuisine, this place is a must-visit!

Don't be deceived by the appearance of this unassuming little spot. The food is incredible—make sure to try the oxtail on a Saturday or Monday. The café con leche is simply outstanding!
