Kaliman - Taxco de Alarcón

Maybe in the night this place is ok, but it is old and grimmy with a very limited menu. We went in and went out. Do not recommend this place at all.

Friends of us living in Taxco brought us here for dinner, which was a set menu for a charity event held in this restaurant, located directly on the main terrace for Hotel Victoria. Dinner was exceptional, and when things turned out, the main cook came to our table for dinner. The meal started with a free shot of Mescal, which was much smoother than I expected, and followed by a cream soup made from amaranth seeds, it was wonderful. The main course was a very good steak wrapped in a light cheese and Phyllo dough, which was also filled with spinach or something. And of course there was one side of perfectly plastered potatoes and vegetables, and a few very good glasses of the house red wine. The view is spectacular, one of the best in Taxco, and I have now seen the city from all sides! The view of the primary cathedral was exceptional from this viewpoint.
