Lisa and Kanya went above and beyond to cook a dish without nuts and the risk of contamination (Clean woks and utensils were used). The food was incredible and I was very grateful to finally try some authentic Thai food. Place is incredible. I recommend coming early because the place is often full!
Kanya’s food is to die for! There’s only five or six tables, so come here early and you get a chance right by the open kitchen. If, by chance you arrive and are not hungry, rest assured the smell will get you there. High-quality ingredients. I tend to eat a lot of food, so I got two portions
Just amazing 10/10 edit(some weeks later): ever since I tried the 'no name veg/chicken ' here, nothing else has compared. my girlfriend and I mention Kanya 's kitchen almost every day... it 's exceptional, and honestly, the only reason I would return to Koh Tao is to revisit this kitchen. the island didn 't quite impress me, but this place alone makes a trip back worthwhile.
We were here twice. Don't be fooled by the names under the photos, we got completely different dishes, better just show the pictures. Delicious: coconut soup, cashew nut chicken, garlic bread. Im in love with passion fruit drink
Amazing and authentic Thai food! Small cute restaurant, a bit away from the crowds, which is very nice and relaxing. Every meal is cooked completely fresh one by one once ordered. Some of the best food we have had throughout our trip in Thailand and amazing value for money. Also the fruit shakes were incredibly good and tasty. We will definitely return.
