Ming Garden Chinese - Te Anau

Surprisingly good Chinese restaurant in this little town. Was skeptical about the roast duck when I ordered because New Zealand isn’t really the place where you’d expect good roast duck but it turned to be really good. Crispy skin, tender and juicy meat, and finished off with a tasty sauce. A must order. The other dishes fried rice and bbq pork were not bad as well but the duck was really the star for us. Thank you for the delicious food here! Planning to come back tomorrow to try the sichuan dishes.

Delicious food and far beyond my expectations for a Chinese restaurant in a small town.

A good place to chow on some Chinese. The restaurant is clean and spacious and the staff was helpful while ordering for a takeaway for a large group. We tried quite a few of their dishes including chicken, fish and pork apart from fried rice and rice noddles. While the food was not as spicy as we had hoped, the taste was great.

Great Chinese restaurant with large variety of dishes to choose from! We ordered yang chow fried rice and sliced fish in fiery sauce, both the dishes were very flavorful. The quantity is just too generous even in Medium quantity! The staff is very courteous, welcoming and helpful. One of the best restaurants in The Anau. Would definitely recommend.
