His website blurb says he's from a small place called Garhwal right up the top of India and we got to taste one of the signature dishes from there today, Bhuna Ghosht (lamb coconut cream) it was the best Indian Curry we have ever tasted, smooth and tender. mopped up with a fluffy fresh plain naan straight out of the tandoori 300 degree oven
Such a great taste experience. Though its take away but we decided to dine in and never regretted. The taste of fresh Naan out of Tandoor and hot sabji's were awesome. Staff was friendly and welcoming which made it Good as Gold. Highly recommended.
We paused at this restaurant on our journey from Waitomo to Tongariro to rest and grab a bite to eat. We're so glad we did because the lamb vindaloo and butter lamb were absolutely delicious! The service was quick, the portions were generous, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They even offered recommendations for places to see and eat around the area for our takeaway. Such lovely people! This is definitely a place worth visiting for a meal!
We needed to grab a bite between activities and we stopped here. It was amazing and original Indian food!!! They have an affordable menu, we ordered lentils and curry lamb. It includes drinks and bread. The place it’s not fancy but the food is really good!!!!!!!!!! Perfect for a pit stop.
Great food and friendly staff! They were patient with my friends and me as we debated what to order. They were very accommodating and allowed us to take pictures of them preparing our food. We loved seeing the naan (highly recommend the garlic naan!! being made in their clay oven. We also highly recommend the Rogan Josh the lamb was SO tender and delicious!
