India47 Restaurant Bar - Tecumseh

Very false advertising! They had a Facebook post advertising $30 off bottles of wine with a food order. Upon arrival, we were told it was a mistake and it was 30% off still a good deal. We were only shown bottles that were $50 after discount. When attempting to order the lower priced bottles on the menu, we were told they were sold out. This is luring people in under false pretenses!

Came here for a girls night, drinks were served with fruit flies floating in the liquid (was not comped from bill), portions were quite small for the price, and when it came to getting boxes and our bills it took over half an hour. There was one waitress serving approximately ten tables, upon receiving our bills they added a gratuity percentage (I understand when theres six or more but I've never seen that for a group of four) then asked for another tip on their debit machines. The best part of the meal was the Naan. A beautiful facility, but not a place I would return too.

Recently a friend from Windsor took us to India47 and have to mention it that it is beautifully made, great ambiance and service. Food was delicious. We tried veg manchurian, paneer tikka, veg kadhai, naan, laccha paratha and mango lassi. Everything tasted great! ?Vegetarian options: Have good vegetarian options!

The food was fantastic. I've been to India numerous times on business, and the flavors and spices are the same. The only issue is that the service is a bit slow and unorganized, it seems. We were seated and sat for quite some time before a waitress even took our drink order.

If I could give 6 stars i would! My family LOVES this restaurant. Today we went celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. Zankhana was our waitress. She was so friendly, and helpful to explain menu items. She was a pleasure to chat with.Every dish on their menu literally blows us away. I can't think of a restaurant i enjoy more than this place! Try the Samosa Chaat, that's a favorite of ours!
