Pra' Grande - Teglio veneto

We spent 12 days in Europe that began in Venice, seven days on a cruise, and back to Venice. The last day we ventured to Santa Margherita for a tour of their winery. Once we were done, Franchesca from the winery, took us to lunch at Pra' Grande. It is a family owned and run business of the nicest people you will ever meet. We had great food, wine, conversation and got to meet the family who own the restaurant. I had gnocchi, pappardelle and bigoli with duck ragù. This is something I would never have thought I would like but I decided to be adventurous. I am so glad I did. If you are ever in this area or within an hours drive, it is worth it!

Restaurant is located a few kilometers west of Latisana and about 20 kilometers away from Bibione and Lignano. There is a large parking area in front of the house. You can have your seat on the outdoor terrace or indoor. The menu is not typical italian in the eyes of tourists. Inside is an open grill and they serve a few BBQ meals. You willste find also soups, salads, pasta... in the menu, but most comes from the grill. Service is very good, prices in the middle. I can really recommended that restaurant.

Quando sei disperso in mare e improvvisamente vedi una luce, un faro che ti illumina e ti dà sicurezza. ritorno al grande pranzo è così, una certezza, sempre buoni e ben presentati piatti insieme ad un piacevole benvenuto. Congratulazioni anche per l'alloggio. Come sempre.

Mi aspettavo il meglio perché le recensioni erano buone invece, ho trovato e la griglia non è stata cotta nella griglia ma solo riscaldata finale alla griglia.

Durante il nostro viaggio, una tappa eccellente per assaggiare i piatti locali... circondati dal verde, tavoli all'aperto e ampio parcheggio, ottimo servizio e piatti deliziosi.
