Galeon Playa - Teguise

We visited this hotel for the 2nd time for 1 week bed &breakfast .I had emailed in advance requesting a pool view and was not disappointed room was perfect. Great location close to bars restaurants super market right across the road .swimming in the sea and the pool perfect. Thank you galeon playa for agreat holiday hope to return

Hotel is lovely meals ok ! Staff very helpful ! Shame the only bar on site is not open for adults. Should be a time limit on children running around !

Spacious apartment One shower gel/ shampoo for three nights, not great, but room was clean only the doors do not lock well, great big balcony: Cleaners are always hard at work. Breakfast was ok because porridge was avaible, that wa sit though for quality, but half board and had to use local restaurants as food was less than appealing, had to walk out at one point because the food was just such a poor standard. It was badly presented and poor options, nothing was fresh and no excuses as it’s not cheap to stay here. Location is great and sun beds are locked until late but we used the beach always so no issue for us. Mother and daughter but would never stay again. Staff are amazing and clean hotel but food : needs updating in rooms.

Was a bit apprehensive about booking galeon after reading negative reviews but so glad we booked our rooms were lovely, spotlessly clean , maid came every other day to change beds etc . Location is fantastic right on the beach and few mins from bars and restaurants and supermarkets already rebooked for next year

Stayed in March for a week, a family of 4 with a baby in 2 one bedroom sea view apartments on a bed Breakfast basis. First the positives and they a lot location fantastic, apartments have everything you need and are clean with a really good balcony. Breakfast has a really good choice every day and the only hotel we have stayed in that has English bacon on offer every day. Plenty of sunbeds every day so there really isn't any point in waiting for the cleaners to finish every morning before taking beds! Staff were great always polite and friendly especially the dining room staff. Negatives even though the apartments had been renovated the bathrooms are starting to get a little stained not a real negative for us), no lift or air conditioning which was ok as we were only on the second floor and could carry the pushchair up the stairs and it was Match so didn't need to hire a fan. The pool was not heated as stated and the male staff member serving at the pool bar was rude and thought is was acceptable to offer burnt food. Overall we had a great time with plenty of places to eat out and lots of places to visit, worth hiring scooters from the lovely man next to the hotel. We would definitely return but not in peak season due to the lack of air con.
