Costa Coffee - Teignbridge

Sadly this costa has gone and lost its sparkle… What a shame that what was once the best costa for miles is now Not so.

After confirming the opening hours online and checking the door upon arrival, we settled in at a table ready for a drink. However, we were unexpectedly informed that the restaurant was closing and only offering takeaway orders. This occurred at 4:30pm, despite the advertised closing time being 6pm. Disappointing service.

This restaurant could use more staff as it is always busy and you may have to wait a while to be served, which can deter me from visiting, especially with young children. However, they offer good drinks and cakes in a pleasant location with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff should try to use less milk in the drinks. They also serve delicious fruit coolers, which you can enjoy on-site or take away.

Costa coffee always give you a metal spoon with your drinks, so no plastic to dispose of. The latte was milky as usual, which makes it a weaker latte than its competitors. The tray was wet, so could not be placed on the table

Saturday after lunch. Packed. A great slice of chocolate cake to go with the xmas themed hot chocolate.
