Seaview Diner - Teignbridge

We went here because most places were shut mid afternoon and terrible weather) the seating is fixed and a little tight, the service was alright. We had fish and chips, and it was ok as a cafe meal, but we would go to a fish and chip restaurant next time . You get what you pay for,it filled the spot but there are better places for fish and chips.

Maybe it was because they were busy, but that has to be the worst food we have ever been served. The meal consisted of cod and chips. My wife and I were so disgusted by the food served to us we walked out leaving the food all bar a couple of chips. Firstly this is a diner and takeaway, the staff took the order and money for the food in the diner but then served the takeaway first leaving the customers in the diner waiting for ages. Secondly, when the 'Food ' finally arrived 'and in my opinion ' the cod was clearly cooked from frozen, barely warm, undercooked, very watery and of extremely poor quality. We walked out in disgust. As I said at the start it was busy, but that is no excuse for serving up food 'that in my opinion ' was disgusting. A real shame because the rest of our experience at the airshow was fantastic.

Lovely food, great drinks! Food cooked fresh, coffee is ground and not instant. Fresh ingredient used. Restaurant is clean with light decor and comfortable seating.

This place I fantastic, rest value for money, the plates are full with whatever you order, the service is amazing, the owners are super friendly, the place is clean, the meals very tasty, we went there twice....very sat after the meal

What a disapointing meal Found a relatively clean table, sat down and waited for service ignord by staff member serving. Went to the counter and told to order food there. Had to get own cutlery some of it dirty, had to change over two forks. Placed order food arrived quickly, obviously heated from frozen rather than fresh. Food did not look particularly appetizing, dull brown batter on the cod, fish more grey than white, no peas withthe fish and chips just a few dead leaves. Chips not particularly good overcooked and too many hard small bits. Ordered chixken breast got four small slices of chicken brest, rubbery texture and tasteless. Coffee was nice, soft drink was minute. Overall an expensive poor quality meal. Next time we will go to Morrisons and get a far better meal for far less money.
