Tasca do Valado - Teixeira

We have booked a family group with children. when we arrived, the restaurant was far away and they didn't get us table because a few sat on the table that was reserved for our group of people. we. awake for hours and not even for the children in our group they offered a solution. we left without eating and other tables were there over an hour before we were served. it takes only a few minutes to get there. only the views are good, the rest is a scandal. looks like another failed management change. avoid the journey, hospitality is a wasted word for these people. there are many great restaurants around baião this is not one.

That is definitiw one of my favorite places in baião, region douro. the view from the restaurant and its terrace is amazing and eating delicious. besides, the owners, ricardo and paula, are really beautiful and welcoming.

Beautiful place with breathtaking view. excellent food quality and very tasteful. nice welcome family owners who served me and my group with much friendliness. a must stop when traveling to the region douro.

Probably one of the most beautiful places where one can have dinner. The owners are extremely nice. Food is really good. Traditional Portuguese dishes made with care. Amazing experience!! The place is not easy to reach but so well worth the trip...

Great food, great staff, great view! We came for having a great lunch and we ordered lamb. It was fantastic!
