Feedback gevenWe arrived to the restaurant in honor of a friend's birthday who wanted to visit here for a long time. The atmosphere of the restaurant is minimalist and aesthetic, there is no decoration or item that steals the focus from the dishes and you know you are coming not to fill the stomach but to provide a fun experience for your palate and eyes. And now for the review taste wise, some of the dishes were simply sublime (my favorite are were the plum and mushrooms dishes) with super intense and complex flavors that make you linger in wonder and want the dish to never end. other dishes were just nice and their taste was pretty standard (such as the kohlrabi and seaweed soup). All the dishes were served beautifully and meticulously and were eye-catching. The service was also very meticulous and the dishes came out like a well timed clock as the waiters mention their name and the ingredient as well as the correct form to eat it when served. It is definitely an experience worth trying at least once to celebrate some special occasion.
Really unique and creative food. Tasting menu is highly recommended. Great service and atmosphere.
The opa serves an 11-speed tasting menu. the dishes are unique, complex and surprising, with combinations of ingredients and aromas that they find nowhere else. it's not cheap, but it's worth the money. I especially liked the cold raspberry asparagus soup (sound strange? wait for them to try the carrots, the carrots, the carrots, the celery cream tartlets. really, everything is amazing and you never know what you'll get. on the other side, while the price is high, this is not a real fine-dun experience. the atmosphere is very casual (last time I was there, our waiter wore shorts and a nike t-shirt,) the music can be harmless, and the most annoying is the only way to share all the dishes they share from suppe to ice. I personally find this very unpleasant and it really feels like the place is trying to skip instead of offering its customers the best experience. it becomes even more unpleasant if they have a strange number of diners at the table, as the courts should be shared by two people. it also means that solo diners have no luck.
Opa is the top and most innovative restaurant in Tel Aviv, and it is also one of the top vegan restaurants globally.
If they consider visiting this place and wondering if it is worth it, it is. if they can be dined here, I cannot recommend it enough. eating was absolutely incredible. I've never seen flavors. the personal here is about any court they serve, very well informed and constantly coming to them. in front of the time!
