The Swan Taphouse - Telford

Stayed here for a few nights. A lot of steps to our room which was difficult for me due to mobility. Lovely room only problem no shelves in bathroom and no shower found it difficult getting out of bath as no hand rails. Very friendly and helpful staff lovely bar and some lovely beer and food here. Parking and good value for money.

Nicely presented place, great for drinks! The food overall was very good but dessert and service were a let down on the day we visited, I would simply put this down to young inexperienced staff on the day. To be specific, nobody asked how the food was, there was inflexibility of swapping one vegetable for another. Not a reason not to visit, but rather some constructive feedback for the management team.

Beautiful quirky and very old hotel stayed two nights great food and entertainment on a Saturday night. Stairs to rooms up a quirky staircase thought we was going to the moon not good if like me have mobility problems. All in all we enjoyed it beds very comfortable

Been to The Swan a few times, and each time we leave happy. The staff are lovely, welcoming, and attentive. The food is divine (I highly recommend the rib eye if you like steak). All in all, a welcoming pub, with great staff and great food. What more could you ask for?

We love the Sunday roasts, portions and friendly staff. But we have been disappointed with the lunch, staff were helpful but there were errors with our order and the quality of the food was poor. Our burger meat seemed tough and like it had been frozen. Its a shame because we do love the Sunday roast!
