Gasthaus Lauheide - Telgte

Unfortunately, they had to wait for coffee for over an hour. When we had that on (in the truest sense of the word) we asked again about the cake we ordered. Unfortunately, there was no more. Guests who came later were served much earlier. Unfortunately, many unskilled services without plan and a stressed, unfriendly boss. Too bad.

We thought in this restaurant was a fairly late lunch, and it was no problem to get a very tasty meal at 22:30. The ambience is very relaxing and the place invites you to stay. Our food came in a very reasonable time, and... all that they have served was of good and fresh quality. The prices were also very reasonable. Very recommended if you are on a bike tour through this area. A surprising discovery in a rural area, away from the city of Muenster!

We were here in our camper for a few nights, there is a bus stop nearby to catch a bus to Munster, but there are no street lights. We didn't know (and weren't told) that they stopped serving food at 5:00, so... was quite disappointing as there was a long way out of town withoutwhere else to get food when we returned at 7:00 on the first evening and everything was closed and in the darkness. The next night we had a few beers in the bar and we felt we were a little inconvenience. The place seems very popular for breakfast at weekends when the parking is full and the queues are long. The food looked pretty and a varied selection of cold cuts, breads and various other dishes salads.
