Cafe Champagne Thornton Winery

Gave them a shot Monday despite the poor reviews. We saw why the reviews aren't great. Food is very expensive (34 for burger plus tax and tip yikes). They don't do typical tastings, just pre determined flights that they don't let you substitute. Wine was decent but for us it is not worth going back for.

They could not serve a party of 3 anything on the menu. We were very disappointed. I guess they felt we needed to be served so someone ran to the store and got Van De Camp fish. The batter inside awful No short ribs. No mash potatoes. No fries. They did give us our 10% and no charge for some order's. The flights were good. Very expensive for food you can buy at the store

This is such a conflicting review. I just want to start by saying that the concert and band covering Santana was exceptional and really set the mood for the evening. The wines and the food were also good. Albeit the prices are exorbitant. 34$ for a cheeseburger? That's just too much. The negative about this experience was the service. It seems to be a recurring theme in a lot of the other reviews I've read as well. First. We were seated, and nobody even acknowledged or came to take our orders until 30 mins sitting down. It took an hour for the food to arrive. Our server only came to check on us one time during our 3 hours at the venue. Our entire party wanted to order additional items, and we had to flag whoever we could find, which in turn they had to find the server for our table. All in all, it is a terrible service experience with outrageous prices from an otherwise wonderful concert Performance. I can't return here in good consciousness with such poor service. Maybe the experience is better when there isn't a concert going on

I wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed our tasting outside. Because of the rain we had to do our tasting seated in the cafe. Ambiance was just ok…but the chocolate wine tasting was absolutely delicious. The goat cheese was very good as well.

Beautiful winerywith great views! We tried two different flights of wine. First was thier Mixed Flight, good starter and great selection. The app we shared was out of this world!!! Brie en croute made the trip worthwhile. Sweet savory dish that was just perfect with all the different wine selections.
