Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Tempe

I ordered a one-meat plate with pulled pork, accompanied by green beans and okra, and decided to add a brisket taco. Unfortunately, the pulled pork was dry and tough; I couldn't even eat half of it despite asking for the fatty parts. The brisket taco also had a large piece of overcooked beef that was difficult to swallow. It felt like the food had been sitting out all day. I'm really disappointed. However, I was offered a replacement one-meat plate, so I'm hopeful that it will be better.

I ordered 2 lbs of pulled pork and 1 lb of brisket, but my order was mixed up. Surprisingly, my team ended up preferring the brisket. The staff member at the counter had my order prepared on time when I got there for pickup. The location was somewhat tricky to navigate, and parking is limited out front, so be prepared to park nearby or walk. Overall, the transaction was quick and smooth, and the staff were quite friendly.

I visited the Scottsdale restaurant recently, having dined there years ago, and it didn’t live up to my memories. The sign on the door boasts an A+ rating from the health department, but the equipment looks outdated and the place really needs a thorough cleaning. The mac and cheese was cold, the chicken was tender but dry, and my Caesar salad was served in a cup with some liquid at the bottom. To top it off, my toast was burnt on one side. Overall, it just wasn’t worth the $30 I spent.

3 meat plate: small portions, I mean I got 1 rib...that's pretty disappointing. Didn't get any bbq sauce with the order, but had requested hot. The creamed spinach was good. Overall kind of lackluster. There are too many solid bbq options around to give this place another chance.

Ordered and paid online today, and the store people refused to give me the order when I arrived at the store. They also refused to refund me any money. They want me to ask my credit card company to get a refund. So, they can keep the money at the end???
