Philly's Famous Tempe

Went there today 9/20/2023. Group of 6. Server was inattentive. She brought silverware and left it at my friend 's spot. My friend distributed silverware to our group. Server also did sane thing for to go cups. I ordered a french dip hold the onions. The sandwich was with onions We planned to eat in but had to leave so we asked for our orders to go. The food is ok. But today, the service was noticeably sub par.

Best sandwich shop I've ever tried. And the family staff is great.

Just tried the Philly cheesesteak for the 1st time and the reviews we correct!!! This is the best cheesesteak I have ever had!!! AND they have tastykakes!!!

I finally found real Philly/East Coast style cheesesteak. The owner/cook heard me order one and laughed when I order it with ketchup and mayo. He came out and said, You must be from back east! Hell yeah, I 'm, jersey girl! I have lived in AZ for 15years and never found a decent cheesesteak, until now. Brought me back to the days when I will go downtown after school and order one from the grease trucks on collage Ave. I 'm a fan for life even though I have to drive out to Tempe to get some! lol (I wish they were in DTPHX instead)

Look at the original hoagie shop right next door if you want this actual establishment and their menu. It took me forever to try to find the menu and just finally came in.
