Pokiluv - Tempe

So delicious! Was nervous to try a new poke place but loved this! So many unique options! And so much comes in it! A heftier portion than most places give!

The Spicy Salmon Bowl was dry, stale and some of the leaves were rotton. For $17, it feels like a rip off. Will not be returning.

I ordered the build your own poke Build Your Own Poke Bowl Large with salmon and spicy tuna with lettuce and half rice. The lettuce was wilted and expired, the rice was old and there was a slimey non food item in my dish pictures next to the lettuce. The food was unsafe to eat and I am very disappointed.

Pokiluv is a really cool new Tempe restaurant in the office center just across the bridge over the Salt River on the northside. It has a nice upscale vibe, cool furniture(sort of a retro Jetsons homage), a nice beer wine bar with a great sushi bowl buffet.I loaded my custom bowl with ahi marinated tuna, salmon, crab, corn, avocado, brown rice with wasabi royu sauce. Unlike manypoke places my bowl had a generous amount of proteins for under $15 is a great deal for any quality poke bowl place(and I'vebeen to quite a few in the California meccas of LA San Diego). Service was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable from GM Andy-5stars. My shrimp tempura on the side was hot delicious. Highly recommended best Poke Bowl I've had in Tempe AZ in 2022.

The fish in both my poke bowl and my boyfriend's roll were flavorless, concerningly warm, and not as fresh as I'd hoped for. The avocado behind the counter was turning brown by the time we got to the restaurant, and my soda was flat when we paid for ourfood. Out of concern for food safety, I cannot recommend eating at this restaurant to anyone. At least the servers were nice.
