Great food and plenty of choices. Staff was attentive and food was prepared fast and tasty.Food: 4/5
I enjoyed my meal at Ramen Time. I got the Curry Udon and it was temperature hot and delicious. It's difficult to find the traditional Japanese curry udon with the stew like consistency. The one here is a regular ramen broth consistency but the flavor had delicious curry notes. Other than the chicken broth it would also have been vegetarian since it had tofu and soft cooked egg as proteins. There is a veg ramen option here though if meat broths aren't your thing. The scallion, red bell pepper and other veg in it were fresh and good. The service was quick and friendly and thankfully the dining area is back open here finally as it had been closed even after the pandemic. The atmosphere was clean but the TV's weren't turned on and I don't think there was any music. Overall a good place to grab a lunch or takeout.
So filling and so delicious. Definitely go with the Ramen versus the Udon if you’re super hungry. You will not be disappointed. How is it even possible for eggs to taste this good? Or even bamboo shoots? They also use the freshest bean sprouts. Definitely worth your time. The broth is super flavorful. And they also have some pretty cool Japanese bar food items like takoyaki.
I didn’t actually eat here; I just walked in and was seated at a table. The main reason I left was that the tables were incredibly sticky. If you place your hands or arms on them, they literally get stuck. It seems like they just sprayed them with water, and it’s not hygienic at all. The place felt very unclean. I bear no ill will towards the staff, and I have nothing to gain or lose by writing this review. It’s simply to inform others about what to expect. This restaurant is located in Arizona, and anyone familiar with Arizona in August knows it’s extremely hot. You’d expect air conditioning, right? Well, you won’t find it here. I can guarantee that it’s probably hotter inside than outside. I’m not exaggerating—I promise. This is why I decided to leave. The place is dirty and doesn’t have air conditioning, plain and simple. I couldn’t even try the food because it was too hot and too dirty. Why would I put myself through that on a day when the temperature is 106°F?
