The Fix Drive Thru Coffee - Tempe

The German chocolate mocha with almond milk is absolutely scrumptious!

Typically, the coffee and delivery service at this restaurant is excellent. However, today's experience was not great. I had ordered ahead for pick up, which was my first time doing so. We arrived at the specified time window to pick up our order, but it was early in the morning and the weather was chilly and windy. There were no clear signs differentiating the line for ordering vs pick up, so we ended up waiting in the drive-thru line unnecessarily. When we finally got to the window, we had to wait for ten minutes in the cold weather, long after the time the coffee was supposed to be ready. The coffee itself wasn't up to our usual standards. Despite ordering the freeze, a cold drink on a cold morning which is our usual choice, it wasn't frozen and had an excessive amount of chocolate drizzle, making it overly sweet. It is possible that the store was understaffed that day, but I am just sharing my experience. I will not be ordering ahead for pick up in the future, unless I can have the coffee delivered or pick up from a place with a more organized process and better quality control.

My family and I always have a great experience at The Fix. My favorite treat is the White Chocolate Macadamia, it is so delicious! The teas come in a variety of flavors and are also really good. And let's not forget about the smoothies - they are yum!
