Ugg...how has "open table" ever allowed this restaurant in the mix?

That was a great culinary experience. we had 3 appetizers and they were all delicious! our server was friendly and overall we enjoyed it!

We've visited this restaurant several times before and have always enjoyed the food, but tonight was different. Everything seemed to be off. We love our waitress, and we've had her serve us multiple times, but tonight's experience was disappointing. The food was delivered one dish at a time, with almost a 10-minute wait between each of the three courses. I had asked for an iced tea while she was clearing the appetizer plates, but she just cleared a plate and didn't bring it right away. At least 10 minutes passed, and I had to ask another server for my iced tea. Overall, it felt like an unusual night with many little issues. I'm not sure if our waitress was the only one serving or if another team member was just a food runner. I really don't like to complain, especially after spending $20, but it was frustrating.

We had a fantastic dining experience that was both enjoyable and fun. We shared a variety of small plates, and each one was absolutely delicious.

First, let's start with the positives: my salad was quite good. However, I'm hesitant about the rest of the dishes we tried. The shishito peppers had a topping that didn’t appeal to us, and the bacon-wrapped dates were just average. What struck me as strange was how rushed the experience felt. We had a reservation, yet as soon as we sat down, we were asked for our order before we had even had a chance to look at the food menu. We wanted to order drinks first, but it took us asking for a cocktail menu to finally get one. To make matters worse, our drinks arrived after our food, which was served so quickly that we didn’t even have time to enjoy our appetizer beforehand. Given that it wasn't very crowded, I was puzzled as to why we felt so hurried.
