Mungia's Bbq - Temple

The service is excellent and the food is fantastic. This restaurant is open from 4 PM to 10 PM on weekends. I always end up eating a lot when I visit. The coleslaw has a nice sweetness to it, and the corn on the cob is also sweet. The only downside is that they don't offer sweet tea.

During my first visit to the restaurant, I discovered that the food is served family-style, which was a pleasant surprise. Instead of a traditional buffet where you fill your own plate, the staff brings the food directly to your table, and you can request unlimited refills of anything you like. The meat has a mild seasoning and isn't heavily smoked, but it is still quite tasty. I particularly enjoyed the potato salad, which was excellent! The coleslaw isn’t creamy, but it still has a good flavor. Overall, I believe it’s absolutely worth the trip. Just a heads up, as you drive out to the location, you might feel like you’ve taken a wrong turn since it's situated in a remote area. However, rest assured, you're on the right path! The building itself is a block structure surrounded by a fence.

The service is outstanding, the portions are generous, and the food is delicious. My husband absolutely loves this place. Additionally, it's wonderful to catch up with old friends; there's always someone we know here.

Charming countryside spot! Brian Gowan was performing with his friends, which added to the atmosphere. The service was exceptional; our waitress couldn’t have been better. The food was enjoyable as well. If you're looking for a relaxed place to enjoy great service, tasty food, and live music, this is definitely the place to visit.

I've known the Mungia family for years and have always felt at home with them. I recently took my team to the restaurant, and the experience was just as warm. Mr. Mungia was incredibly accommodating to our group and ensured that everyone had plenty to eat. Most of my team had never heard of the place before, but now they're eager to return. Wonderful people and delicious food!
