Northern Cafe (temple City)

I had to stop coming here because everyone we over eat. I guess a good problem to have as the food is pretty good! If you have e kids or lots of kids or buses of bids, you can get the room and just chill. They have hotpot and all the noodles you can eat. The food comes out pretty fast and you should order ahead the XLBs as they come out a little later. Service is good too, they usually have 3 wait staff to make things work. It'll be nice if they can get some beers on tap though! Plenty of parking in the back and in the street.

The Two Stars are for Cleanliness and the Helpfulness of the server, this is by Far, the most Flavorless, Bland, Overpriced food I've ever had, I was in the area getting my vehicle serviced, decided to take a short walk and have something light, I figured a plate of fried rice would be fine,,they had Shrimp, mushroom and chicken?,, no pork, 1st problem, then they have some standard fried rice with turkey cubes sausage (could be pork could be turkey) ham cubes..it tasted like they just threw it all in the box with some egg,, no sauce no spices, it barely touched the Wok (if at all),, Flavorless..and they EVEN CHARGED 2.25 EXTRA TO SERVE IT WITHOUT SHRIMP!!.. Huge waste of money, and it was 12 DOLLARS!,, I could of had some Great Gormet food DELIVERED to the auto shop for that money.. Avoid this place..WEAK AF

COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. The staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with limited capacity. They are also sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago after work, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment unless it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is shared with several other establishments with one being a supermarket. Avoid coming here during the weekend because you'll struggle to find a parking spot. Each parking spot is decent. Food: I ordered a green onion pancake. It comes in 8 slices. It was very hot and crunchy. Not doughy at all. Just the perfect dinner I was craving after work. Staff: The staff here are very kind, friendly, and welcoming. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is a credit card minimum of $10.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. The quality isn't great and the price to portion ratio is rather poor. I ordered dumplings and you honestly do not get much from the price you pay. It comes out to about $1 per dumpling. They skimped you a bit on the filling as the dumpling is mostly wrapper. The takeout container is rather small and tight so when you do arrive home with them they would all be clumped together. Avoid this place since they are better locations nearby.

Good and reasonable priced food. Carry out is very fast.Update: they remodeled the restaurant and made a few karaoke rooms. Sitting areas are now highly limited and the karaoke guests are very loud disruptive.
