While I enjoyed her food in the past, today's culinary experience deserves the mention. I had an anchor for seafood, but was in a hurry to come home before traffic became too bad. I called the Dive Oyster Bar to go. On my arrival, my order was ready to go? Wait zero so I could catch myself. As soon as I came home to dig, I noticed how well packed my articles were. The damped shells were packaged in a way to hold the entire broth of the fried oyster claw tail in a ventilated container to keep it crispy. Everything was AMAZING. The broth for the shells was so tasteful went super w / the French baguette provided?sop? the broth high. The cancer oysters were also very delicious. All paired perfectly w/a salad I have already prepared ar home. This meal was plenty more than enough to feed 3 people. The quality award point made my tasters purses do the happy dance! Dive into the Dive Oyster Bar, you? I'm so glad you did.
My review is based on the Happy Hour menu. Parking is crazy in this plaza so prepared and careful. The bathroom was ok and quite clean (although I prefer paper towels via hand dryer). Sitting was a lot and the decorations were great!! They did a lot to make the place fit the theme very good. However, we came to a 100-degree day where it was 95 in the night and the AC didn't work!! Couldn't believe there was no AC. There were fans going, but that just sleeps around warm air and dries my contacts. It was extremely disappointing to sweat while eating. The Sangria ordered (it was good and sweet as I was looking for, tried the brussel sprouts (that was amazing with the addition of feta cheese. Very delicious, a perfect duo! and I tried the chicken wings (wet overcooked because it was dry and hard to chew and very salty and the fish n chips (that was most disappointing). It had a bad fish taste and was kind of mushy. I would recommend the brussel sprouts and the cajun fries (delicious and the fries were not too sharp at all. My friends enjoyed the oysters (they said it was really fresh. Everything else is not going. The server was nice and checked for us, but if we really needed him, he was nowhere to see. So the service was 50/50.
Great happy hour. Mon-Fri 3-6. Great specialties on drinks and small bites. Inside is modern and quite spacious. You have a few TVs over the bar to see a game. For happy hour and got oysters, the hot Cheeto trufflemac cheese and the fish chips. I liked everything. Her tequila dawn also liked and sangria. Will definitely come back to try more. Good service. Friendly staff. There are parking spaces in the shopping center, but it can get full, but there are also underground garages.
Although not really authentic, this place is delicious and quite expensive for what you get. The Mac and the Clam Chowder cheese were particularly tasty. As strange as it sounds, it works and is quite filling out as an appetizer. For the main course we also have the Jambalaya. It wasn't the best I ever had, but tasty and pretty big.
Wonderful happy hour experience! Great food with decent price and great service. Ordered several different happy hour items and the portion is right on point. Especially oyster and fish and chip!
