Pink Palace - Tendring

We spontaneously stopped by this restaurant during a busy weekend, hoping for a room to be available. To our surprise, not only did they have a room for us, but the family who runs the hotel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel had a lovely outdoor area at the back that was great for families. We also enjoyed sitting at the front of the hotel after breakfast, sipping tea. They even arranged for my husband to park the car at the front of the property. We arrived as strangers but left feeling like we had made new friends after just one night. We will definitely be returning, as the hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from town and right across from the beach. Hopefully, we can book one of the balcony rooms at the front with a sea view next time.

I visit the Rosado Palace regularly with my family, including one of 16 people to celebrate a roast on Sunday 70 July.The quality-price ratio is exceptional in this place. Cream tea for 7 pounds. 50 including a cup of tea with various homemade cakes is absolutely delicious. There is so much to always take a distance.The hotel and the restaurant is familiar, they are very friendly and nothing is too trouble.They have seats in the front with sea views, a garden and a playground to keep the little ones occupied. There is also free outdoor parking.I love the place.

Tea Room serves as a meeting room. Good size room that can accommodate a band/disco and 70 sitting people and dance floor. The toilets were very clean. Small bar serves drinks at a reasonable price. Friendly, administered by a family. I can't think about hotel rooms, as we were only there for a function.

The food was tasty, but I was disappointed by the presence of ants all over the tables. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they simply wiped them off the table and left it at that. This experience has discouraged me from returning to this restaurant.

We took our granddaughter along with her boyfriend for her 21th birthday for afternoon tea. The service was great, there was a lot to eat we had a doggy bag to take home. Tea and coffee were unstop. Everything was fresh, bark of the sandwich granddaughter (who likes it) butter, cream and jam were very tasty in all we can't complain about the place or the price.
