Restaurante Casa Pinon - Tepoztlán

Casa Piñón is located near the Tepoztlán Center (apart from the main church) and with a great view of the Tepoztlán Valley (although not to the piramide). It offers a beautiful local ambience, a well maintained terrace and good local cuisine. The service is also good and on Sunday it serves a Mexican buffet. Not a luxury place, but a good restaurant for those who want to enjoy traditional Mexican dishes. Last but important in Tepoztlán, it has a large parking lot.

The place is beautiful. People are not enough for a good service. Time for menu cards is too much even Witout people in other tables. I'm not coming back.

A short walk downhill from the centre of Tepoztlan, this good restaurant is just the place to relax after your morning on the market, the church and climb (and below) on the pyramid. If the solo saxophone plays soft music while you eat, drink, vice versa and enjoy the view, you will know why you have come to Tepoztlan and appreciate this memory.

Great food, but mostly what I love about this place is that it's family established and families visit year after year, so they take care of their customers. The restaurant is on the roof of the house which became a rooftop balcony. Love the views. Going there makes me enjoy the fact that I got away from the city, and can enjoy nature and all the rock mountain formations around Tepoztlan.

While we had intended to have comida (lunch), they were just shutting down the breakfast buffet. So a cold beer and some relaxation gazing out over the valley was in order. Pleasant spot but have no comments on the food.
