I liked it for the charming underwater era. but they have parked a big loudspeaker before what was the first sign they have stopped to maintain. the reception was anything but. the first two chairs in which I sat were so creepy that I was afraid, but that was perhaps the fat floor. they were from the first thing I had ordered, but “has everything else”. the waiter insisted on his ugly English about my reasonable spanish I think that is understandable in a tourist city. but the murderer was the tepid birria. I sent it back and it returned. I paid my bill and went for good.
Our tour guide brought us here for lunch. When we arrived at 1:00pm it wasn’t busy, we placed our orders and waited. Other customers arrived and had their orders taken. Meanwhile my teenagers are scarfing down chips. 45 mins later our food arrives. It’s two...of us had cheese empanadas. They were greasy and flavorless. While we ate our tour guide asked when his food would be brought out. By the time we were all finished they brought his soup out. The service was poor. It also took some time to get someone to bring us the check. It took almost 2 hours to eat there. I do not recommend.
This restaurant was full of gringoes includeing our party of 4. It seems to be recommended by hotels, guides, etc. as a suitable menu for non locals. The steak fajitas were so tough that they went u eaten, nothing spectacular in any of our meals.
A tour group of ten, we ended up eating here both nights we were in Tequilla. The food was delicious, with reasonable portions a good variety from which to choose and the service was good. The first night my girlfriend and I shared the tequila...shrimp platter. The shrimp were plentiful and the cream sauce had just a taste of tequila. The second night she had the beef tacos and I had the shrimp casserole. The shrimp casserole was more like a shrimp broth soup, but again with a large quantity of shrimp.
