I have the happy ones that were good, but my man got the fajitas and they were fantastic! the woman who leads the place is all business. she's not mean, like another person said more valuable. we can not expect any hostess to be effective and we can't expect that fast service from a restaurant with so few employees and unpredictable masses. it was slower than what I would expect in the city, but living in the west tx is slower. I agree with another review than terlinguan's tourist hates. they have such limited resources and tourist gobble of gas and food. run easily when they visit they make sure that a dog without personal borders it can big when they open their car door. for us this was in order, but for others it may not be.
We ate at tivos stay in longhorn ranch motel. it is a simple restaurant with limited hours (only open for dinner, at least for today? .. but the chili rellenos are the best we ever had. very homemade. there is no alcohol allowed. .so they don't come with a long for a beer.
First a warning about the location. the card that has yelp is not exactly. assumed, it is the same tivos, the restaurant is 12 miles north on 118. drive them north until they think there is no way that there is a restaurant before and then it is! the guacamole and chips were great. the enchiladas verdes had too much cheese for me, but that was my fault not to order them as I wanted them. the chile relleno that my man was good, but only filled with cheese. a bit boring.
- Stop. we were surprised by the excellent food. all from scratch! delicious tres leches cake! the journey worth it!
The sweetest little place. We were in big Bend for spring break and everything was completely slammed. This sweet little place was almost empty. Lorraina was so thoughtful, finding a child size mask for my little girl. It was like wandering into your Mexican grandmother's kitchen.
