Feedback gevenFirst off, Northcoast Poppers isn't really a restaurant; it is a food truck that specializes in selling kettle corn. They also sell poutine and what they call tornado potatoes. They've clearly established themselves as a player in the Northwest food scene because, whenever I've come across this truck, the lineups are usually very long, with most waiting for the kettle corn or the tornado potatoes. I've even heard that when the season ends and winter is starting to set in, some folks will even stock up on the kettle corn and even freeze some to eat over the winter. I thought that was actually kind of funny but, to be fair, it is really good kettle corn! And the tornado potatoes, while kind of gimmicky, are pretty good, too (think of home-made crispy potato chips. . .in the shape of a tornado!). What else is there to say? Go out and have some kettle corn!FOOD: 4/5SERVICE: 4/5VALUE: 5/5RECOMMENDATION: While the menu is very limited, these folks know what their specialty is. Highly recommended!
This restaurant has a well-equipped mobile van that they take to the weekly Farmers Market and various local events. The cheerful couple hires local young people to help them cook and sell delicious kettle popcorn and deep fried torpedo potatoes. Their service is fast and friendly and their prices are fair. It seems like they are doing well financially, considering how much money I spend there!
They are always at the farmer's market in Terrace every Saturday morning. Great popcorn and the tornado potatoes are delicious.
As a food enthusiast, I can confidently say that this kebob house serves the best Koobideh and the most delicious DOUGH (the Iranian drink). The waiter was incredibly kind and friendly.
