Terrible experience. Reservation made on December 30th for an overnight stay on January 31st/01st and I was informed in the late morning of the 31st that my reservation was cancelled. No response to the many phone calls for clarification, no response to the messages sent. End of the year ruined by people who should be doing something else for a living but certainly not hosting people. Congratulations for your lack of seriousness and non-existent professionalism. Certain hoteliers should absolutely be avoided.

I was in this farmhouse for Ferragosto 2023. I booked by telephone specifying that I didn't want the fixed menu but only a frugal and quick meal. They told me there was no problem. Strangely, after at least 20 phone calls it was the only place where there was still availability. Difficult place to reach. Very isolated. Upon arrival there were only 3 cars in the parking lot and 3 couples in the room. Spartan room. Roof recently redone with light bulbs hanging from the ceiling without a chandelier. It felt like having lunch in a warehouse with tables and chairs. Rather dark with smoke in the room coming from the kitchen. As a couple, we took the house antipasti consisting of a plate of cured meats and cheeses each and 2 small plates of pickles. Then one of the 2 first courses from the complete menu, 1 carafe of water, half a liter of house wine and 1 coffee. Decent raw materials but nothing special. Bill total €60. I pointed out to the owner that we basically only had one starter each and a small sample of the first course and, frankly, €30 is too much. He replied that the full menu was €45. I paid and we left. I will certainly never go back there again. I have been frequenting Pollino for 30 years. I ate everywhere but at much lower prices, with certainly better dishes and, what should not be underestimated, in much more welcoming locations. Not recommended. Better to have a packed breakfast. I almost forgot: no receipt

We had a very good time, quiet, clean and well-organised place, well-furnished room, functional bathroom, kind and helpful owners, good and plentiful food prepared by the good lady Angela, the blackberry tart in particular was fantastic, beautiful surroundings and a stone's throw from Newfoundland, fair price

Sono stato in questo agriturismo per Ferragosto 2023. Ho prenotato telefonicamente specificando che non volevo il menù fisso ma solo un pasto frugale e veloce. Mi hanno risposto che non c'era problema. Stranamente dopo almeno 20 telefonate era l'unico posto dove c'erano ancora disponibilità. Posto difficile da raggiungere. Molto isolato. All'arrivo c’erano solo 3 auto nel parcheggio e 3 coppie in sala. Sala spartana. Tetto rifatto da poco con lampadine appese dal soffitto senza lampadario. Sembrava di pranzare in un deposito con dei tavoli e sedie. Piuttosto buio con fumo in sala proveniente dalla cucina. Abbiamo preso, in coppia, l’antipasti della casa composto da un piatto di salumi e formaggi a testa e 2 piattini di sott’oli. Poi uno dei 2 primi del menù completo, 1 caraffa di acqua, mezzo litro di vino della casa e 1 caffè. Materie prime decenti ma niente di chè. Totale del conto 60€. Ho fatto presente al titolare che abbiamo, in pratica, preso solo un antipasto a testa ed un assaggino di primo e, francamente 30€, sono esagerati. Mi ha risposto che il menù completo veniva 45€. Ho pagato e siamo andati via. Di sicuro non vi tornerò più. Frequento il Pollino da 30’anni. Ho mangiato dappertutto ma a prezzi decisamente inferiori, con portate sicuramente migliori e, cosa da non sottovalutare, in location molto più accoglienti. Sconsigliato. Meglio una colazione a sacco.

Pranzo eccellente pietanze genuine si può veramente gustare la vera cucina lucana immersi nella natura .consiglio vivamente .propietari gentili e disponibili . struttura molto bella nuova costruzione in fase di completamento.
