This village is absolutely picturesque and charming, secluded from busy roads and extremely peaceful. There is a single pub in the village, located across from the church. We stopped in for drinks and chose to sit outside in the back garden area. The pub was crowded with patrons enjoying delicious and generously portioned meals. Our service was prompt and we enjoyed soaking up the sunshine and the timeless surroundings. Snowshill is definitely a must-visit location, with free parking just a short walk away from the village.
There are many pubs in the Cotswolds that have succumbed to current visitor trends and lost their uniqueness. However, the Snowshill Arms remains a traditional pub serving good beer and classic dishes at reasonable prices. It may not be trendy or upscale, but that only adds to its charm.
Not a usual visit in the sense a private reception after a funeral. A lot of people who were very well looked after.
After a nice hike through the cotswalds, it was a nice place to stop and have a pint!
Staff were very uninterested, had to ask for a drink 3 times before they eventually gave me a can of coke. Food was slightly gone off.
