Hopkins Icehouse - Texarkana

I have visited this restaurant multiple times, most recently yesterday. Every time I have enjoyed a drink and a meal, they have been consistently good. I only had one complaint when my tacos had rotten avocado, but it seems that issue has been resolved. The beer selection is fairly good, but there is a limited selection of spirits. The service from the waitresses and bartenders is always excellent and they are consistently friendly.

Atmosphere was very laid back and comfortable. There was great music playing and a wide variety of beers to drink as well. The food was very tasty, I would have preferred more seasoning in the breading on my fried steak but it was still good. I will mostdefinatly be visiting again soon!

Date lunch with the hubs at Hopkins today. We went out on a limb and ordered dessert first! Bread Pudding is awesome! Steak tacos also a huge win with a nice spicy bite to them. Bonus to our adventure- great conversation with a TXK councilman learningabout all the cool stuff coming down the line for TXK!

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but the service during brunch was terrible. My husband and I each had a cup of coffee before ordering, but we didn't receive any coffee or water for over thirty minutes. After asking another waiter for coffee, we were finally served. However, our original waiter informed us that the restaurant was not a coffee joint, but a bar. We were taken aback by this response. Eventually, we received some milk for our coffee, but our waiter never returned to our table. Fortunately, a waitress with blue hair provided excellent service and earned a 5-star rating. I hope she received our tip instead.

I am not from the local area, but I recently visited this restaurant with some female friends. It isn't really a spot for a younger crowd. The live music was enjoyable, but it was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. The cocktails were not very impressive, however, the lemon drop shots were quite good.
