Feedback gevenI'm sorry to say that this restaurant has really lost its touch when it comes to flavor. It used to be the best place to eat in Texarkana. Verona's was known for its delightful dishes, and the risotto was a standout—truly a culinary experience. Unfortunately, this time around, the Mushroom Risotto was overwhelming with mushrooms, completely masking the beautiful sauce that once complemented it. It was dry, and I could hardly detect any sauce at all. Overall, everything was a letdown. My friends and I left feeling quite disappointed.
Salt of the Earth has always been one of our favorite restaurants, so of course, we ordered a bottle of wine. We weren’t very hungry, but we knew the food would be great. This time, I had the chicken Alfredo, while my wife decided to go for the lasagna instead of her usual lamb. The portions were quite generous, and both the sauce and pasta were cooked perfectly. We always look forward to the bread with risotto, even though we never end up ordering it... Anyway, everything was fantastic! Also, today we decided to have pizza for our son’s birthday, which is just around the corner on the 22nd. Happy birthday, Noah!
This wasn't Verona's cellar. The brunch was fantastic as always, and our waiter Dillon was wonderful! Be sure to make a reservation the day before or early Sunday morning, as it fills up quickly! And don’t forget to order the mimosas!
Luckily, I only live a city block from this restaurant. I have the greatest experience every time I go.
The service was excellent and I loved the atmosphere.
