Kelley's Country Cooking - Texas City

Eating is amazing and the portions huge! I had the chicken roast steak, kartoffels, fried okra, cole Slav and 2 roll for something over $15. I had water, so add a few mice for tee or soda. it was very busy as it was the lunchtime, but the waitress was quick and friendly. I have my food very fast and it was hot and good. highly recommended!

Omgoodnes. if they are in galveston a must come, make sure to share a great appetit friend with or love rest. eating is great. the prices are extremely reasonable and the staff very sweet and attentive. I can't ask more than a bigger one to go bag.

Great food. never seen, a kartoffel that weighed more than a new born baby, or a cookie bigger than the hand of an adult man! the service was excellent, fast friendly.

For years we have been at kelley’s in meadows Place/Stafford. some of the most wonderful foods cooked from ground! moved to galveston and was looking forward to the kelley’s in la marque. then it started fire on the dach and I had to wait months for repairs. but finally! eating is always fresh and tasty. no conned or frozen vegetables, instant potatoes or packed gravure! specials every day with some everyday regular such as huh fried chicken and steak, leber and wobble, etc. as well as the complete menu. the rollers for which they serve shall die. Despite my diabetes, I treat myself at every visit to a roll. they are always smiling and attentive. weekend mornings can wait a bit a line, but it moves fast and the reward is worth it! My party went here for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. We were able to choose where we wanted to sit. We each ordered a main meal and they came with 3 sides. What's unique is everyday they feature different side dishes and highlight different meal options. There was definitely a lot of food and I was only able to eat half of my meal. Our waitress was very friendly. I would recommend this location to anyone who is in the area.
