Luna's - Texas City

The food was excellent, and the service was fantastic! I really enjoyed my meal, but my father's cheese enchiladas were burned, which left him quite unhappy. However, they were accommodating and allowed them to be replaced. He did go back for a new dish. Overall, the rest of the meal was delightful, and we will definitely be coming back!

Luna is a local gem that stands out in the crowd. They offer delicious Mexican food at reasonable prices. The bar serves expertly crafted margaritas, and the staff is incredibly helpful—four different employees checked on our drinks! Just a quick note: there is a designated smoking area at the bar, which means the entire restaurant has a slight smoky scent.

The food was excellent. We waited about 10 minutes, which isn’t bad considering the usual hour-long waits. It was a busy Friday night, but our food arrived quickly and was fantastic. Our server, James, was friendly and attentive, even though he seemed a bit overwhelmed. We will definitely return.

When I go to Texas to visit family, we often go to Luna. I like to get the roasted avocado! It is filled with cheese, rice and chicken meat. It is usually very good (although this last September it was very dry) Good Queen

Luna's is definitely one of our go to spots in Texas City! The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff are always happy to serve you. They make fresh tortillas on site and you can watch! For us it's also a plus that they have a smoking section, and it's not real smokey and stuffy! Lots of traditional Mexican dishes and decent prices also. I recommend checking it out for sure!
