The Front Porch - Texline

We arrived just 15 minutes before closing, and the staff was very welcoming and happy to serve us! There’s a large parking lot where we could easily park our RV. We ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and the Chicken special. Everything was hot, fresh, and made from scratch. The pie we took to go was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was impeccably clean. We will definitely make this our annual stop!

We need to schedule our future trips to Texas around their hours! Everything is homemade. The food is fantastic, the staff is wonderful, and the prices are great! You absolutely must try a slice of cake!

My wife was looking for a place to eat on our trip from wyoming to Texas at lunchtime. she found the best place to eat! the front veranda is 5 stars! the best lunch and I'm sure the best breakfast! the restaurant radiates with pride on the owned and is an oasis like no other. the chicken steak was excellent! the kartoffels were perfect! the homemade brot is so delicious! then. dessert. we tried the chocolate chip cookies and they are fantastic, but we had the (and I quote my wife) best piece of cake I had ever had in my life! they change their desserts regularly, but if they ever get a chance to have their Carmel Pecan Cout Cream cheese cakes, they don't want to miss it! they have been open for four years. we've been passing this place 8 times since we've been going to wyoming every year. young, we're gone. when they drive through texline, they will not be disappointed when they stop here. we won't be back, we'll stop right away! absolutely loved the experience and eating!

Update 8-4-2022 Great home cooked food Always good service. Best butter syrup. Want good home cook meal this is the place to stop. Food was very good service was very good. Had pancakes and Fram fresh eggs, bacon . Would recommend.

If you're looking to take a trip down memory lane while enjoying a meal that won’t break the bank, this is the place for you. My fiancée and I had breakfast here for just $15, and the food was fantastic. The ambiance was charming; although there isn't much in the Tex-Mex style, the veranda has definitely become a regular stop on my trips through New Mexico. I highly recommend giving it a try!
