The only visible structures were the Tumbleweed diner, a nearby church, and perhaps one house. Despite its small size, the Tumbleweed served us some delicious liver and a fantastic cherry cake with ice cream. The owner and server is a hardworking lady who never seems to tire; she also enjoys painting various subjects and chatting with her customers. This stop was undoubtedly a highlight of our trip!
Delicious yet uncomplicated dishes, a lovely owner, and a must-visit spot on the route to Texas.
I had an incredible experience! The food was outstanding, and Masel is truly the sweetest person. She treated me and my two young daughters like family. This place is definitely a must-visit!
Masel, the owner, was a nice host. She cooked my father and I at noon and told us some great stories about how the place came to be.
Great food. Lovely owner explained the local history.
