Daniels Serv Centre - Thamesville

First time in Paris and this place is the first we stopped at to grab a drink while waiting to be able to check into our airbnb.

Fantastic service and very helpful hostessThey did a good job helping us with the French-only menu.

Four of us (2 couples) dropped in for a quick dinner. My significant other and I both ordered the same meal: Hamburg steak and fries. Our friends both ordered the same: fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Waited at least 50 minutes for our meals and then only 2 of us got our dinner (one hamburg steak and one chicken dinner.) Our dinner mates didn't get theirs until about 15 minutes later. Second servings were cold. Ordered my hamburg steak without onions and got exactly that - a fried hamburger paddy without onions, gravy or anything else (including seasoning) and a handful of over-done fries. Came with 3 perogies that were essentailly disgusting: soggy, wet, doughy and unappetizing. Our friends' chicken dinners were only marginally better. They included lumpy, cold mashed potatoes without gravy, butter or anything else. Coffee was luke warm. Couldn't wait to leave by the end. In all I was embarrassed because it was my idea to eat there. I think this is a place to be avoided at all costs. Not just my imagination -- guy at the table next to us was complaining about the long wait for his food just as we were leaving.

I have breakfast here most work days. do eggs brown toast ham with tomato. practically unlimited coffee. it comes quick. and they usually have today's paper for you to read. they also have television with the news on. for those who can't read. breakfast cost me $6.80 with taxes.It must be pretty good because all the old farmers meet there for breakfast most morning. and we all know how frugal old farmers are.

This place has poor service that never writes down your order and ends up missing anything extra you ordered. Been here several times with the same result.The food is low quality and is very hit or miss. Only plus is their gravy seems to be consistantly good.
