Mary's Place Restaurant - Thamesville

This was a fantastic spot for breakfast. The food was delicious, the coffee was hot, and there was plenty of seating. The staff was very friendly.

I visited on a quiet Sunday morning. The waitress was friendly and the service was quick. My breakfast arrived promptly and just as I had ordered. It was a delicious breakfast with a lovely setting.

We were seated at a table and warmly welcomed by the staff, who provided us with coloring mats, crayons, and booster seats for the children. This allowed us to peruse the menu and place our orders in relative peace while the kids stayed busy. The restaurant was a bit chilly, and I wished I had worn a sweater or kept my coat on. The food was delicious – I ordered a hamburger with fries, which was hot and satisfying. Although the coleslaw wasn't listed on the menu, our waitress kindly brought me a small portion in the tiniest plastic cup. My husband opted for the popcorn shrimp and enjoyed his meal. The children shared our dishes and were ready to eat before us, keeping themselves entertained. The other patrons in the restaurant, mainly older individuals, were sweetly amused by our kids and seemed genuinely happy to see them. I always worry about my children bothering others with their antics, but this was truly a family-friendly establishment, and we would definitely return.
