This restaurant is well-known for its seafood. The portion of food they serve here is hearty. It is know for its old authentic Malvani dishes. The Surmai fish was fried and the mutton Bhuna was a semi gravy dish. Both the dishes very delicious and the quantity was also appropriate. The ambience is of any regular fine dine and the service is prompt. This place is a must try for all sea food lovers out there. When it comes to having authentic Malvani food, it has to be this place. Thane comprises of so many restaurants which serves authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. However, after trying a couple of restaurants I now only head to Malvan to satiate my seafood craving. I’ve now visited here a number of times. In my recent visit, I ordered: Bombil fry – this was ok, was way too oily Green Peas Garlic Fry – the only veg option in starters, quite below average. Veg Thali – since veg options are so limited, this was the only reliable dish to try. The dal was good, the tendli subji was a pass. Surmai Thali – its favourite fish and totally enjoyed, the entire thali which is served with bhakri, rassa, fish curry, rice and solkadi Pomfret thali – the fish was really very fresh Chicken Rice – it a chicken pulao in Malvani masala. Good spicy, thoroughly enjoyed. Special Egg Curry – this is a variation of egg curry where there is no boiled egg but scrambled eggs! Yes, the scrambled eggs are in brown spicy gravy, went so well with bhakri. Chicken Thali- nice chicken gravy and and chicken curry with coconut flavour. It's my go to thali if not keen for seafood Masala Papad The service is quick and staff is very polite. The highlight of this place is value for money. Real Malvani food to try with special Malvani masala marinated fish,chicken with tasty spicy curry One must try prawns masala Kombdi vadhe if u Haven't try those are speciality in Malvan and white bhakri. Fish fry Thali option is also available which is enough to fill one's belly

Authentic malvani eating. famous for its thali system food quality and quantity is great. ambiente is good for the family the hotel is located in one of the main areas of ase panchpakhadi personal is courteous and service is fast price is also reasonable thali from 250 € 400 € eating 10/10 ambiente 7/10 prices 8/10 service 8/10 quality and hygiene 8/10 quantity 9/10 there is no rich in some areas within the hotel although must try all types of thali chicken, fish garnel! a thali can serve 1 person with decent appetit or 2 persons with friendly light appetit. in frame 3 plate huhn thali together with komdi wade surmai tawa fry.

I hw visited this place twich until the date specially tried for seafood fish thali at this place and my sister tried the hw thali the taste was always consistent and would never leave ypu down the only thing that I felt was that his a little overpriced place not strong but a little.
