Le Cafe Creme - Thanet

The restaurant offers delicious food and excellent service! It is a small but welcoming place to enjoy a meal and a cup of coffee. It is disappointing to see the closure of such a wonderful establishment. It is a significant loss for the town.

My husband and I came for lunch on a Sunday and usually we just come for tea and cake. The service was as always excellent, the food was hot and homemade. My husband had the beef and trifle, while I had the chicken and black forest cake. Both dishes were delicious. The café is always busy on Sundays and now we know why. We will definitely be back. Thank you to Barbara and the staff.

This restaurant is a wonderful place to enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals and a better cup of tea than you can get at home! The service is super friendly.

Our meal was ruined by a long wait,and having to rush to get back to our parked car on time. We were not notified of any wait,as would be expected,and the place only served six tables,and had at least three staff,so there was no reason to expect it. Also we have used other local cafes there,and it has never been a problem elsewhere. As for the rest,average quality,prices for the area,acceptable,and I'm sure many of the locals are quite happy there,but are of the retired types who are perhaps not in a rush.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and had the large breakfast. Great food well done the lady owner was very attentive will certainly return .
