Ploughmans Choice Tea Room - Thanet

This was my second visit to this restaurant and I ordered the avocado sandwich and the breakfast. Just like my first visit, the breakfast was excellent, with generous portions and well presented for a good value. The avocado sandwich was also very filling, with generous portions. I have also ordered some takeaway sandwiches, which are made on site and have much more filling than the usual places. The staff are also very pleasant, making me want to come back regularly. Overall, this restaurant has become a favorite spot for me.

Had here a very pleasant, tasty and well cooked whole day type of breakfast and will return. other half had avocado french stock with salat etc. as well. from the tables in our section had customers who had a good sign and possible more seats elsewhere. there are also some seats outside. can recommend it.

They are invited on a walk to lunch and now serves various toasties and sandwiches and burgers. many additional options so that they are their meal in many hinsicht. hand cleaning was available on the ordered, but was surprised that the servicor...Person wore no face mask summer the wonderful newfoundland dog, deserves a star’ mention!

I wanted to have lunch with a friend at this restaurant. We ordered two breakfasts and a platter. The platter took a long time to come out, so we ended up eating our breakfasts first. The restaurant wasn't busy, just us and another couple. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than serving customers efficiently. I kept asking where the third meal was, and the server was not very friendly in response. When I suggested taking the meal to go, he refused. So my friend left, leaving me to eat the platter alone quickly. I was disappointed by the experience. I also bought some potatoes at the restaurant, only to find out the next day that I could have bought twice the amount for the same price in Birchington. The prices at the restaurant were very high. The chairs were uncomfortable and difficult to move, and a dog was constantly begging for food. Despite signs saying not to feed the dog, it seemed to expect to be fed. Overall, it was not the cleanest or best dining experience, with overpriced products and slow service.

I like this place , an honest attempt at providing nice food. Staff are friendly and its feels a bit undiscovered which is nice. Its licensed so you can have a glass of wine with you lunch if you feel that way . The fresh...air while dining is great .
